Dave Rolfe
Born in Folkestone, Kent I continue to live in the town with my wife. Over thirty years ago I became interested in wildlife photography. I spent almost all weekends, over several years, taking photos at the Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks (The Aspinall Foundation). Much to my surprise, my photography was recognised by various media including Time Life, National Geographic and other magazines as well as the national press. .
Many years ago I became the parks’ ‘official photographer’. Following retirement from my local business, I now spend all my time on photographing wild animals not only at the Parks but also at various locations throughout the UK and also travel, when I can, to Africa, North America and Germany. You will see photos in my gallery taken from all these sites.
Please look through my gallery of photos on this website. My library of photos is now vast and consequently photos will be changed on a regular basis so please come back to browse again soon.
You will find elephants, tigers, rhinos, wolves, various types of deer, wildebeest, birds, giraffes, cougars, bears and much more here and with future galleries as the site will be updated regularly.
Photographic prints make a wonderful gifts. All prints purchased will be posted in protective ‘tubes’ within a few days of your order and payment.
Wildlife Photography Workshops
In conjunction with the parks mentioned above, I hold photographic workshops. Come along and spend the day getting up close to some of the World’s most endangered species and let me teach you how to capture those ‘one off’ shots with the expertise I have gained over many years of this type of photography. Sessions must be booked through The Aspinall Foundation by visiting their website.
